The future of music group Danity Kane is still uncertain. After the finale episode of Making the Band, in which Diddy kicked Aubrey O’day and D. Woods out of the group, which left many fans in shock. Considering all the bad publicity that Aubrey has received since the group was signed in 2005, it wasn’t that much of a surprise to me that she was removed. Also, D. Woods seemed to have a presence of a solo act all along, which is proberly why she got the boot too.
Dawn Richards told Essence Magazine, “We talked about it, and there’s a fear we have of losing our fanbase. But at the end of the day, Diddy made his choice to let us decide, and we would like to continue with the name and the group. “This is our lives, and you can’t just say no to your dreams. I love working with the group. However, it’s so hard to say what will happen. I would prefer that the original group members remain. It’s hard enough for fans to follow as is.”
So for now, the Danity Kane “ Dollhouse” has two vacant rooms, I’ll keep you posted.
