This week, Arista’s recording artist Paula DeAnda, 19 released her new single ” Stunned Out“ featuring rapper Young Joc. I think the song sounds more like an album filler verses a first single off a sophomore album. But hey, maybe it will have to grow on me.
The Texas native appeared on the music scene with her self entitled debut album in 2007. The first time I heard Paula‘s first single “Doing to Much“, I immediately liked it so I purchased the album. The original version of her second single “Easy” featured rapper Lil Wayne. But the radio version and video featured rapper Bow Wow. I think that was a great move on behalf of her marketing team who probably wanted the singer to gain more awareness among Bow’s young fan base. Paula (who I think resembles Andrea of Danity Kane) is set to release her new album in early 2009.
