Five time Grammy nominated recording artist Jasmine Sullivan is set to star on the big screen.
Sullivan, along side her tour mate Ne-Yo will star in RED TAILS. The film is set in Prague, Czech Republic and directed by Anthony Hemingway from HBO’s The Wire. The movie is an adaptation of the experiences of the Tuskegee Airman during World War II. Sullivan will portray a jazz singer who entertains the Servicemen, one of whom she becomes romantically involved with.
It’s good to know that the Songstress isn’t letting any grass grow under her feet, Although she did not win any Grammys this year she maintains a positive outlook.
“I am not at all upset, everybody who was nominated was pretty much deserving. I have a long career ahead of me, so this is not my last Grammys, hopefully.”
