Thursdays episode of Oprah was dedicated to dating violence among teenagers. During the show, a teenage girl expressed her disappointment in singer Rihanna’s decision to remain in a relationship with her alleged abuser Chris Brown. The teens comment compelled Tyra Banks (who was a special guest on the show) to remind the public that Rhianna is not just a singer, but also a normal girl who has the right to make her own decisions. That may be the case, but the overwhelming back lash to her decision, may cause the pop star to lose her endorsement deals with Gucci, CoverGirl & Gillette. As of today, Rihanna’s contract with the Gucci brand has not been renewed.
