The one shoulder dress is a Haute new trend for Spring 2009 . Celebs like Gabrielle Union, Kim Kardashian and Alicia Keys have been wearing these popular dresses on and off the red carpet. This asymmetrical design is so popular because it takes attention away from your lower body and up to you neck and shoulders. Since this style is so chic and classy, it’s trend cycle will probably last through the Fall.

Giorgio Armani opened his flagship store on the corners of 5th and 56th avenues in Manhattan. The mini Armani mall houses all the Armani brands under one roof and includes a plush cafe.  Solange Knowles, Zoe Saldana, , Alicia Keys, Victoria Beckem, John Mayer, celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe were a few of the many celebutantes that attended the grand opening.

Artists Foxy Brown & Alicia Keys were both seen sporting the latest “Sandy Brown Skinny Jeans” with a pair of peep toe heels.

I joined in on the skinny jean trend last spring. Mainly because I was fashionably frustrated with the variety of other types of jeans that didn’t fit my shape. The “skinnies” seem to be a winner because I have been able to find several pair that are cut to my size . Have you had this fashion dilemma too? Comment on what you think of this trend.

Umm has anyone noticed that Foxy Brown has always attracted drama, is in and out of court, hasn’t had an album out since the mid 90′s and has seem to always wear the latest luxury fashion ? She has income coming from somewhere, but where? Could it be Jay-Z ? I have yet to see Ms.Foxy unfashionable. I know if I had all that going on in my life, I would be looking a Haute-Mess from the stress alone. Go Girl !
