On Monday Februrary 16th, reality tv stars Angela and Vanessa Simmons held a fashion show & concert for their popular Pastry brand.  The event took place at the Fashion Mall in Las Vegas presented by Seventeen Magazine. The Simmons sisters showcased their latest collection of clothing & handbags.  The concert included performances by Keri Hilson, girl group Sophia Fresh, Alycia Bellamy and Na’Shay.

The 2009 Fall Collection from Lacoste was sooo cute!  The collection of sportswear was amazingly bubbly and bouncy.The ready to wear showcase  invoked solid colors of cremes and winter green while representing chic comfort and cozyness.

Nia Long walking the runway during MERCEDES- BENZ Fashion Week

On Friday, actress Nia Long struts her stuff on the runway for The Heart Truth Red Dress Collection Fall 2009 fashion show. Nia wore a a red lace dress by designer Tracey Reese with peep toe heels to accompany. There will be more HAUTE fashion photos coming your way from Fashion Week held in Bryant Park, NY so stay tuned.

Everyone has been hit hard by the recession, including the fashion house of Baby Phat. Designer Kimora Lee Simmons has decided that an over the top fashion show, full of celebs during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week was not fitting for these economic hardship times. Instead, she opted for an intimate affair full of buyers only. I’m glad that the “ Life In The Fab Lane” star decided to skip on spending unnecessary funds for her fashion showcase. I didn’t know she had it in her, but I’m glad she scaled it down a bit.
