Back in 2007,  well known choreographer Robin Antin form a girl singing group called The Paradiso Girls. The girls are sort of  like the European version of the Pussy Cat Dolls, but their lyrical content is over the top and out right ridiculous and their vocals abilities are in need of major tweaking.  Rappers Eve and Lil John hung out on the set of the video shoot.

The material girl  herself, Madonna is featured above in the Spring/Summer Ad campaign for Louis Vuitton. The ad campaign has been so successful, that the luxury brand has provided Madonna with a contract extension for the Fall/Winter season.

Pop stars Rihanna & Michael Jackson are being sued by Manu Dibango. According to the 75 year old Cameroonian singer, the hook from his 1972 track “Soul Makossa” was stolen and incorporated into their songs. Jackson has already agreed that his 1983 hit “Wanna Be Startin’ Something” used parts of the Dibango’s song. Then in 2007, Rhianna received permission from Jackson to use the same hook for her smash hit “Please Don’t Stop The Music“. On February 15th, a judge will decide if Dibango should receive compensation of $500,000 in damages.

From the snid bits of the article that I’ve read, it’s apparent that Swift is mature and likely to be viewed by young girls as a positive role model.
