Rhianna was stylish in her white pant suit with a cheetah print button down top and gold accessories. The pop star was spotted leaving the Metropolitan Tower in Manhattan to attend Derek Lam‘s boutique opening.

Thursdays episode of Oprah was dedicated to dating violence among teenagers. During the show, a teenage girl expressed her disappointment in singer Rihanna’s decision to remain in a relationship with her alleged abuser Chris Brown. The teens comment compelled Tyra Banks (who was a special guest on the show) to remind the public that Rhianna is not just a singer, but also a normal girl who has the right to make her own decisions. That may be the case, but the overwhelming back lash to her decision, may cause the pop star to lose her endorsement deals with Gucci, CoverGirl & Gillette. As of today, Rihanna’s contract with the Gucci brand has not been renewed.

On Tuesday night,  Kelly Rowland was given a surprise 28th birthday party at the Opera in Hollywood. The event was hosted by Tank & Lala Vasques. Of course Beyonce and Michelle Williams attended along with other celebs  including actor Columbus Short (of Stomp the yard),  D. Woods, Forrest Whitaker and Terrell Owens to name a few.
